Try some local moonshine - high-proof, unaged, clear whiskey traditionally produced illicitly, often from a fermented corn mash base. These days, it is more refined and often made with unique flavors.

At Sugarlands Distilling Company, enjoy the barn-house in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg. visitors can sample award-winning spirits and take a behind the scenes tour of the stillhouse.

Opened in 2014 with five moonshine flavors, Sugarlands’ portfolio now includes more than 20 different products from moonshine, rum, whiskey, vodka and ready-to-drink cocktails.

Pigeon Forge: Lively, Flavor‑Packed & Perfect for Beer Fans

Smoky Mountain Brewery and The Casual Pint are top picks for craft beer lovers, while several distilleries and cider houses offer tastings.

Ole Smoky Distillery has multiple locations and tasting offerings.  "The Holler" is it’s Gatlinburg distillery. Choose a Regular Tasting, which Includes moonshine and whiskey samples or a Premium Tasting, which includes all offerings from the Regular Tasting plus three additional samples.

Visitors also can take a guided tour, followed by a 13-sample tasting of Ole Smoky’s finest moonshine and whiskey!
