Seeing 4 bears and one deer at Cades Cove was a highlight. Spending time together as a family. We really needed this vacation so we could spend some much needed quality time together. We loved the cabin and can't wait to come again.

When you said you need a 4 wheel drive, you are right to make it up the driveway, but it's not wide enough to turn around, but that was fine with me. Had a Wonderful time at the cabin. Ps. We are coming back.

The scenery was beautiful. Very clean & super nice cabin, loved the hot tub for relaxing. Also enjoyed sitting on porch taking in the nature & peacefulness. Cabin had everything we needed.

Just getting to spend time with family at the cabin & relax away from home. We love just riding down different roads and seeing the scenery. Our cabin had the best scenery and so secluded. We had a few minor things but other than that our stay was great. We will be back to this cabin. It is now one of our favorites.

My family and I traveled to Pigeon Forge in Feb of 2025. We had an amazing time at The Moonshiners Ridge. My two sons aged 4 and 6 were literally praying for snow. When our flight landed, they could see the snow that had fallen that day, but when we go to the cabin it snowed for another two days, it was beautiful and the kids loved it. The cabin is about 15-20 minutes from the attractions but its well worth it since you drive through the beautiful landscapes. We spent our time driving into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg looking for bears. Unfortunately we did not see any wild bears, but we did get to go to the souvenir shop and for a small fee we were able to see River and Daisy the two bears they have there (we got to feed them). 100% will be going back, there is so much to do.

Our kids first trip to the USA. They wanted to see snow and it snowed the first 2 days. It was cold but worth it. They enjoyed the trip/cabin. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!!!

Learning to navigate the driveway was a highlight! No really it was the peacefulness of being out here, late night chats in the hot tub and played board games in the comfort of the cabin.

Our stay at this Moonshiner’s Ridge cabin was a wonderful experience beginning to end! Easy check in and checkout, a cozy setting, and a beautiful cabin itself along with even better views. My favorite part was getting to bring my pets along too! If you have pets, you know how hard it is to find a nice place to stay without worrying about leaving your pets behind. With these cabins, you get luxury with your pets tagging along!

My husband, our two kids and I (7&11 years old) came for the first time during their fall break. We really enjoyed the cabin and the area. I hope we get to come back soon! The kids love the pool table and the bunk beds! We also played a lot of family charades and card games. We went to dollywood, pirate voyage dinner show, took the farris wheel on the island, avisited gatlinburg, hiked through the smoky mountains and rode the alpine coaster (my kids favorite)! Thank you for letting us enjoy your cabin.

My mom and I decided to take a trip to the Smokies last minute, and this was one of the only cabins open. We weren't quite sure what to expect but we absolutely fell in love with this little cabin and its porch! A cup of tea, rocking chair on the porch, sounds of natures bliss. Last month, my dad and my grandpa passed within a couple weeks of each other, and this was just the relaxing rejuvinating trip we needed. Thanks to this beautiful cabin <3. Heads up to future rentees: if you go to the cades cove riding stables, get there EARLY or expect to wait for HOURS. (We wated 3...) Happy Trails, Smokies. Til we meet again.

cabin was in astounding condition, not an issue we can find! Would highly recommend you to family and friends! Infact, thinking of holding a family reunion in Pigeon Forge and will be looking at one of your large cabins for that affair.....

We LOVE this cabin!! All we could have asked for was in this cabin. One of the best things was feeling we was the only people for miles but in fact we was only 15 minutes from the parkway.

The place was beautiful , it had everything we needed even simple things I forgot to bring . the price was great . we wanted the whole mountain cabin vacation and thats what we got the wood work on the cabin was gorgeous . the decorations in the cabin everything from the old phone to the photos was just beautiful. I do photography and this cabin gave me lots to photograph ,and beautiful family photos . thank you so much for giving us a beautiful vacation with memories to last a lifetime . we defin itely will be back .

My husband and I stayed in Moonshiner's Ridge Jan 9-13th. We absolutely loved it! The description of the cabin on APG website was accurate. We have stayed in other cabins that are higher in elevation, however, we loved the seclusion of this cabin ne d in the hillside. From the cabin deck, you can't see another cabin. Also while standing on the deck, you can see and hear the creek at the bottom of the hillside. The cabin is approx. 6 miles out of Pigeon Forge. It was one of the best decorated ca that we have stayed in. We loved the heavy-duty, log furniture, including the dining table, bed, and chest of drawers, the nature prints, and the moonshine still pictures, as well as all of the crocks and decor. The fireplace was so beautiful and cozy. The hot tub in the screened in porch was private and could be accessed from the bedroom or the deck. There were no closets in the cabin, but there was a chest of drawers for clothes in the bedroom. The cabin does sleep 8, but note that it is 1 bedroom,
