Gatlinburg's Winter Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff is an annual event that celebrates the start of Gatlinburg's Winter Magic season with a chili cook-off and the lighting of millions of holiday lights throughout the city. The event features chili tasting from local restaurants and organizations, live music, and a special appearance by Bush's famous spokes dog, Duke. The lighting of Winter Magic, with over one million LED lights, will also be officially launched at the event.
