Championship Barbecue

At the center of Bloomin’ BBQ is the Bush’s Best Tennessee State Championship BBQ Cook Off, a KCBS-sanctioned competition drawing more than 34 professional cook teams.

Savor the smoky smell of victory in the Cook Team Village presented by Food City, where the teams will smoke ribs, brisket, chicken, and pork as they vie for the title of Tennessee State BBQ Champion. Watch the teams in action!

Bluegrass, Americana & Dolly Parton Tribute

Three music stages showcase bluegrass and Americana, with special 2026 events celebrating the 80th birthday of local country icon Dolly Parton, including the Mountain Soul Vocal Competition.

During the Mountain Soul Vocal Competition, listen as finalists from around the nation perform one of Dolly’s 3,000+ songs in their own style.

Then stick around for cousin Richie Owen’s original show, Appalachia: Ballads, Bloodlines, & the Long Journey Home – a roots-music and storytelling experience blending songs and spoken stories from the Owens and Parton families right here in Sevier County. Finally, see Here I Come Again, a Dolly Tribute featuring the band Run Katie Run.

Crafter’s Village & Family Fun

Browse 70+ local craft vendors, enjoy festival donuts, and let kids play mini golf—an easy, relaxed afternoon for families visiting the Smokies.

Jam Sessions

Visitors can join or watch open jam sessions Friday night and Saturday afternoon, offering an authentic Appalachian music experience. No reservation necessary for this, but it is one of the best parts of a music festival.

Optional VIP seating and box seats are available for visitors wanting a guaranteed view of main stage performances.
